Astrological Insights: April 14 - 20, 2025
Moving Forward with Courage (and new Astrology University webinar)
Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer us collectively. If you’re looking to access personalized insights to help you navigate the now, I’d love to do a Stellar Guidance Session with you. Click on the button below to schedule a session (and know that if none of the availabilities work for you, you can always email me as sometimes I am able to offer other possibilities).
Now that both Mercury and Venus have ended their recent retrograde cycles, do you feel a sense of movement, that things that were in a holding pattern are finally (even if slowly) beginning to have more space to proceed? If so, what are you noticing, what awareness are you finding has resulted from the past six weeks in which we needed to review, reconnect, reclaim, and reconcile? Use what is becoming more evident as a guide to further understand how to stand with more ground in relationships and communicate what’s inspiring you.
With Saturn uniting with the North Node on Monday, we may find that structures and limits becoming guiding principles. What it means to have a spine, to embody life with a backbone, may be thematic invitations we see around us. While we may cherish immediacy, we can see how playing the long game may build foundations that are more sustainably unwavering.
As you know, Neptune entered Aries on March 30, ushering in a new chapter related to the realms that we idealize, that may permeate our consciousness, that may experience dissolution, and that may be portals for healing.
This week is the first time since then that a planet has united with Neptune, concentrating and disseminating its invitations in a way that we may be able to more personally recognize. In this case, it’s messenger Mercury that is sidling up to it. And with this, we may witness the broadcasting of themes such as the reverence of the warrior, the fighting spirit of some media outlets, and the spread of toxic masculinity, as well as further awareness of how to use compassion as a catalyst to champion important causes.
I offered a post a week-plus back on Instagram that feels really aligned with this invitation and so for those who did not see it, I thought to share my reflections here. Accompanying an image that said “Courage is Contagious” I wrote:
Neptune in Aries reminds us that courage is contagious. After all, Neptune is the planet of blurred boundaries and Aries the sign of bravery.
Yet it’s not just courage that’s contagious, as Kamala Harris noted yesterday at the Leading Women Defined Summit, but also fear. Let’s choose courage, and be the bedrock for each other.
Speaking of planets moving into new signs, on Friday Mars re-enters Leo, the zodiacal arena in which it began its retrograde cycle (on December 6, which now feels like a lifetime and another reality ago). As it does, we may find ourselves more powerfully moved by art, creative expression, generosity, and childlike wonder. Additionally, some may find themselves more galvanized by a need to put themselves center stage.
Even though it’s roaring back into Leo, Mars will not clear its retrograde path until May 2. As such, the themes of life that have been under review since the fall, when it comes to how you assert yourself in the face of achieving what you desire, may still be offering some great insights over the coming weeks.
This weekend we move from Aries to Taurus Season, ushering in a month that can have us feel inspired by connecting to form, our bodies, and nature. The pace slows down just a bit as we’re invited to weave practicality and sensuality into our approach to life.
On Sunday, with Venus once again uniting with the North Node (it recently did so on February 3 and April 2), we have another opportunity to see how love can be our North Star. Yet, with Mars making a square to the Sun that day, the pathway to this may involve some friction, including a tête-à-tête with situations that could evoke frustration as we propel ourselves towards expressing our desires. See if you can use this tension to further understand what stokes your passion and the value that the erotic can bring to your life.
Wishing you all my best,
xStephanie
