Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer us collectively. If you’re looking to access personalized insights to help you navigate the now, I’d love to do a Stellar Guidance Session with you.
It’s boundless. It’s sensitive. It’s illuminating. It’s watery. It’s activated. It’s transparent. It’s relationship-focused. It’s slow at times and fast at others!
It’s this week!
Mercury Turning Direct
On Monday, Mercury ends its current retrograde cycle, set to begin moving forward again. Soon after, as it begins to pick up more speed, you may find yourself gaining more awareness of the ideas that you’ve been reflecting upon over the last weeks. Consider what you’ve reconsidered and how you’ve accessed new vantage points by doing so. Take this awareness and begin to formulate ways to communicate with those with whom you’d like to connect. Remember that the days around Mercury shifting directions, there’s often a lot of communication, news, and inputs swirling about; try not to get captured in a spin cycle of information overload.
Venus/Saturn Conjunction + Venus Turning Direct
Also beginning the week, love planet Venus meets up with make-it-real Saturn. We’re called to pay attention to the structure and integrity of relationships, seeing where cracks in the scaffolding may exist. As we do, we may gain insights into what is required to strengthen their foundations; as we reflect on that, it may become more evident whether or not partnerships and alliances are worthy of our investments.
Additionally, with Venus focusing our attention of the idea of value, we may gain further insights into just what it is that we feel has worth and brings our life true richness. Given Venus’ connection to money, it’s also a week in which we may see consequences from the way we have managed our finances.
I can’t help but wonder what may happen to the global markets on Monday, after they dropped precipitously last week after Trump’s tariff announcement. Will there be more limitations? A further sense of consolidated (Saturn) assets (Venus)? Or will someone (who has power to make changes) perceive/realize that the idea has far-reaching negative consequences and suggest a course correction?
To all of this, we shall see. And yet, we may not even necessarily see the answers immediately. I say that for two reasons.
The first is that Venus is still retrograde most of the week, shifting direct on Saturday. As well, given its recent retrograde, this is the second of three of its recent connections it has with Saturn. The first was on January 18 while the third is upcoming, on April 24.
Consider how these three moments are connected. Reflect on what may have occurred personally (and/or collectively) around mid-January that has some resonance with what is unfolding this week, notably related to the arenas of relationships, finances, beauty, pleasure, and self-value. See if you can find a connection, notably how what is emerging now is giving you a different take on what you may have encountered months back. Yet try not to draw a definitive conclusion at the moment; instead, be present to the thoughts and feelings that are arising and then see how more clarity will emerge later this month when these two planets have a rendezvous once again.
In addition, remember that with Venus still retrograde most of the week, we’re being offered further opportunities to re-evaluate, turn to the past for key insights, and look at things from a non-rote vantage point. Doing so can have a lot of benefit.
Libra Full Moon x Chiron
The same day that Venus goes direct, the Full Moon lights up the sky. Given that it features a Libra Moon, it furthers the emphasis on relationships that this week holds. We encouraged to think about which alliances can help us pursue our desires while also forging diplomatic strategies that can aid us in championing a cause we deem important.
Yet with Chiron threaded into this lunation given its union with the Sun, we could find ourselves more readily provoked if we find that something that’s done or said triggers a deep-seated wound within. All the while, there’s opportunity for some deep healing, notably related to galvanizing courage, giving yourself permission to brandish more bravery to fight for a value that is near and dear to your heart.

PS. With both Mercury and Venus stationing direct in Pisces, we may find that we’re quite tapped into the unity of things. This can be beautiful as it inspires compassion, empathy, love, and artistry. Yet it can also be overwhelming if we find ourselves more porous to the emotions and thoughts of others (including their suffering), notably if it has us take responsibility where it’s not ours to take. Reminding ourselves that maintaining healthy boundaries can be exceptionally compassionate, not only for ourselves but for others, feels like an especially stellar strategy.
