Astrological Insights: March 24 - 30, 2025
Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer us collectively. If you’re looking to access personalized insights to help you navigate the now, I’d love to do a Stellar Guidance Session with you.
Last week, I wrote about all the cazimis that were occurring. This week we start with another one: the union of the Sun and Mercury. This alignment potentiates the flow of information, the desire to be in communication, and the instinctive pull of sharing messages.
Connect to the seeds of inspirations that may crystallize in your mind, watching for a distillation to occur that can help shift a passing thought into idea entrenched in more purpose. That said, be aware of the potential for feeling overly sparked by an abundance of inputs that seem headed your way.
On Thursday, Venus retrogrades back into Pisces, and as it does it communes with poetic Neptune. We may find our hearts ensconced in both the joys and sufferings of others, as it may appear that there is less distance and separation amongst us. The topic of love may seem captivating, taking on us on numerous journeys including visiting ports of longing. Watch for the infusion of idealization as well as the dissolution that can come from falling under the spell of something or someone glamorous or enchanting.
Neptune can infuse a haziness, a feeling that seems quite prominent this week, and not just limited to its tete-a-tete with Venus. Here’s why:
We have another eclipse this week; this one a Solar Eclipse that occurs on Saturday. As you know, clarity can feel obscured when we’re in the throes of eclipses, so don’t push for premature definition. This eclipse, an Aries New Moon, helps us connect to the warrior within us, galvanizing us to champion the causes and missions that fuel us. We may hear the battle cry of our hearts and minds calling us off the sidelines to fight for what gives us and others life. With Aries related not only to willpower and drive but also anger, we could also feel steeped in lessons related to how we orient when we feel frustrated as well as how we view and process rage.
The same day we have messenger Mercury uniting with Neptune just after it, like Venus, also retrogrades back into Pisces. This alignment underscores the importance of not forcing ourselves to figure things out just rationally and logically, as this may just add to the greater sense of confusion we may be feeling. Rather, make space to see what insights and realizations may emerge when you also invite in your intuition, feelings, sense perception, and imagination. See how things that may have seemed separate and boundaried before actually have a relationship—a unity and a correlation—that you didn’t previously perceive, and how this helps you to further understand the reality of things.
On Sunday, we invite in one of the many celestial shifts that are occurring this year and next, as Neptune marches into Aries. Given that Neptune spends over 160 years in a sign, it’s been a while since it’s taken up residency in this fiery martial realm of the zodiac; the last passage of Neptune in Aries was between 1861 and 1875. Note that Neptune will do one final dip back into Pisces, from October 22 of this year through January 26 of next, at which time it will stay in Aries for the next 13-plus years.
There’s so much to be written about Neptune in Aries, and lots already has. While over the next weeks, I intend to write an article that surveys some possible astrotrends, for now I will just share this one additional thought, which ties into the theme of this Neptunian week. When any planet crosses into Aries (or Cancer, or Libra, or Capricorn), it occupies something called the Aries Point, which is thought to something of a portal of potentiality. This has the planet’s archetypes feel more pronounced and thread throughout the world stage and our collective experiences.
As such, we may find over the coming week/s that the Neptunian realms of magic, mysticism, and the muse feel strong as does the process of dissolution, whether of boundaries, barriers, the ego, or shared reality. Remember that Neptune can connect us to the healing waters of compassion and forgiveness. Yet, it can also inspire us to be carried away by dreams/promises of transcendence and union; sometimes this can bring us closer to the numinous while other times if we’re caught up in our own or another’s fantasy, it can have us feeling unmoored from what is more fact- and truth-based.
Weaving this together, be open to what’s inspiring you, find space in your heart to feel and stream love, connect to the threads that sew all life together, while also being cognizant of the potential to see something a certain way only because you deeply wish it would appear as such.
All my very best,
xxStephanie
