Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer. May they help you make the most of this moment. Should you want to see what the current planetary movements are catalyzing for you—what your here/now and near future may be inspiring—based upon your personal astrology chart, we can explore that in a Stellar Guidance Session.
I’m finding it challenging to write about this week, notably because I wanted to be succinct. After all, we’ve got a strong invitation to to honor limits and be disciplined given that less-is-more Saturn will be stationing as it get set to shift direct on Saturday. And with that, we may feel more aware of the consequences that frivolity and excess bring.
That said, my challenge in being concise may mirror two other of this week’s potent alignments as they have quite a different flavor: that being the Sun/Jupiter Opposition and Venus/Neptune Opposition, both exact on Friday. The former may impart us with a more-is-better orientation while the latter can have us orienting from the perspective that we can experience additional value if we dissolve boundaries and just go with the flow.
To find the balance and harmony between what may seem like conflicting pulls, one strategy may be to give ourselves freedom to explore, not restricting ourselves to predetermined contours, while at the same time remembering the importance of having solid foundations, thoughtful architecture, and honoring the integral value of time.
I do want to share more reflections with you about that Saturn station, notably that it’s doing so in the sign of Pisces. Given this, all week and into early next week, our attention may be drawn to facets of life connected to the archetypes associated with this sign. This may include such realms as water, marine life, spirituality, universal consciousness, transcendence, the arts, sleep, dreams, escapism, and medicine (both plant-based and pharmaceuticals). For more background on Saturn in Pisces, check out this article I wrote in March about possible emerging astrotrends. (And those who are paid subscribers, if you want a reminder about your Saturn in Pisces horoscopes, see here.)
We may also find ourselves curious about the ways in which we (and others) define love and embody empathy. With Saturn reminding us of the manifesting powers of confines, we may further understand the importance of boundaries, be able to see any codependent or enabling patterns we bring to relationships, and evidence how a No can sometimes be as, if not more, compassionate than a Yes. Pisces inspires us to merge as well as immerse ourselves and Saturn placed in this sign turns our attention to how we can do this responsibly as well as the ways in which if we’re not doing this consciously it may cause more harm than good.
I’m thinking too how this strong Saturn in Pisces week may bring us opportunities to consider that things that seem disparate may actually contain threads of interconnectivity. Related to this, I’ve been ruminating about pairs of things that appear somewhat antithetical but between which we may see an alliance. As part of this moment, I’d encourage you to hold any or all of the following dyads in your mind and see what emerges when you consider how they are related as well as what can be created if both are honored in unison. These include:
Time and timelessness.
Structure and flow.
Grounded and oceanic.
Linear and spatial.
Concentrated and dispersed.
Limited and unlimited.
Prescribed paths and meandering routes.
May you this week bring you experiences that help you expand your capacity to access, embody, and express love, for yourself and those all around you.
xxStephanie
