Saturn in Pisces Astrotrends
With March 7 soon approaching, we are just days away from Saturn shifting signs, moving from intellectually oriented Aquarius to soulfully inspired Pisces. In the first article of this series, in addition to featuring Saturn in Pisces horoscopes, I also spoke about what it means collectively when a planet enters a new sign. There I noted:
Saturn’s entry into a new sign, which it does every two to three years, often feels like it has a lot of gravity behind it. That’s not only because it is the planet associated with gravity but because one of Saturn’s archetypal invitation is to put us face to face with the concept of natural limits: and in doing so, we find ourselves called to embrace responsibility, diligence, accountability, and efficiency. We’re invited—or perhaps better said, compelled—to take a hard look at arenas that are under the auspices of the sign in which it resides, and come face to face with the reality of what’s real. Saturn’s movement into a new sign can catalyze significant shifts for us personally and collectively.
In this article, we will explore some of the realms associated with Pisces so that we can have a framework for some of the potential zeitgeist shifts, collective invitations, and Astrotrends that we may experience over the next three years. Below you will find reflections on three areas—water, drugs, and interconnectivity—that may capture our attention over the next three years.

The World of Water
With Saturn representing the existence of limits, and Pisces a water sign, these upcoming years may bring shifts in our collective relationship with this precious resource. While water rights, access, and purity has been a conscious consideration for awhile, in the coming years we may find that the volume of interest we have for these topics is turned up a notch (or several). While this could manifest as more “water wars”—disputes between regions or organizations for access and ownership—it may also manifest as an upswing in technologies involved in recycling, filtering, and desalination, and /or more regulation aimed at this realm.
