Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer. May they help you make the most of this moment. Should you want to see what the current planetary movements are catalyzing for you—what your here/now and near future may be inspiring—based upon your personal astrology chart, we can explore that in a Stellar Guidance Session.

The week begins with poetic Neptune making an opposition to Mercury, the planet of communication. And with this, our mind may feel in a daze and our concentration overcome with haze. If mental fogginess seems to replace keen focus, just give yourself some time to dream, attune to your imagination, and zero in with your intuition. Read some poetry, listen to some music, and let yourself get lost in art. Doing so may be the best pathway forward to be able to excavate some deep and hidden information that’s available to be mined thanks in part to the nice connection Mercury has with unearth-what’s-shrouded Pluto on Tuesday.
What’s also quite interesting to me this week is that it’s the last one (for nine months) in which Venus resides in Leo. Why’s this significant? While Venus usually spends about three to four weeks in a sign, it’s been roaring through Leo ever since early June owing to its recent retrograde cycle. During these four months, we’ve experienced a concentrated exploration into our creativity, need for romance, relationship to play, how we orient to celebration, the way that pride operates in our life and/or the manner in which we’re inclined (or not inclined) to treasure the unique being that we are. Before Venus departs Leo and heads into disciplined and discerning Virgo on Sunday, take some time to reflect upon what you’ve learned over the past few months related to these and other Leonine realms of life.
Speaking of Venus in Virgo, it will play a star background note in the zeitgeist through November 7. During this time, we may find ourselves with greater appreciation for artisanship, systematic approaches, cleanliness, organization, integrated well-being, and how diligent work can produce fruitful results.
Additionally, given the tense connection between Mars and Pluto that becomes exact on Sunday, the latter part of the week may call us forth to really be clear about what motives and drives us. If we side-step trying to hone in on what’s inspiring our actions and/or anger, we may find ourselves burrowing down in frustration and upset, creating havoc that we could later regret. Instead, go below to find a sense of honesty as to what is moving you, and just what it is that you desire, and find the forthright dedication to assert yourself in pursuit of your aims.
Wishing you a stellar week!
xxStephanie

Dream Reflections
Here are two articles over at Well + Good in which I shared my reflections on the meaning of different dreams. This one speaks to the myriad meaning of water dreams and this one what an owl may signify if it appears in your oneiric visions.
