Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer. May they help you make the most of this moment. Should you want to see what the current planetary movements are catalyzing for you—what your here/now and near future may be inspiring—based upon your personal astrology chart, we can explore that in a Stellar Guidance Session.
As the week begins, our thoughts may wander to visions of better times, whether of past or future, while we also witness the reveal of more clarity as to what we truly value and cherish. It’s a time in which we can look to our dreams to further understand our motivations as well as see how communicating with more compassion can help us to experience deeper layer of love.
It’s a week in which two planets shift sign residences. On Wednesday, love planet Venus sashays into relationship-revering Libra, where it will lounge through December 3. During this time, we may find ourselves connecting to an elevated affinity for justice, peace, and equality. It also brings with it a desire to socialize and connect with others. These interactions may allow for us to share our stance while also being curious about that of those with whom we encounter, seeing how we may both arrive at a recalibrated perspective that balances an array of vantage points.
On Friday, messenger Mercury bounds into adventurous Sagittarius, the sign it will explore through November 30, imparting our minds with an inspiration to seek knowledge and a wider vista through which to understand our lives and the world around us. The day it darts into Sagittarius it makes a square with structured Saturn. And with this, speaking errantly may bring additional unintended consequences as can rushing through writing a missive only to realize it contains an error of omission or commission. It may be a good moment to follow the musings of Tupac Shakur when he noted: "If you let a person talk long enough you'll hear their true intentions. Listen twice, speak once.”
One of the seemingly most striking astrological inspirations of the week occurs exactly on Saturday; that being the Mars/Uranus Opposition.
Mars is the planet that governs assertion, battles, willpower, and desires while Uranus is the planet associated with innovation, creative chaos, electricity, and the unexpected. With their standing across from each other, it may seem as if they are at a stand-off, with Mars in Scorpio acting upon passions to relentlessly pursue its aims while Uranus in Taurus seeks a practical solution that isn’t the one most obvious at the outset.
The drive would be to find ways that these can be integrated. How can we greet a detour with wonder rather than dread? How can we allow ourselves more spaciousness so that we can invite in impulses that may surprise us rather than have too tight an aperture that doesn’t allow for their arrival and recognition? In what ways can we fight for what we want using strategies that are not our go-to but rather ones that not only stretch our capacity but allow us to more readily achieve our aims? How can an enhanced sense of flexibility help us to move more readily and effortlessly? Is there a way that nature-honoring practices can help us connect to the depth of our emotions? These are some of the Stellar Reflection Questions that can help us orient at the moment.
Expect the unexpected is a good mantra for the here and now. By keeping it in mind, should something occur that you didn’t have on your ‘bingo card’ you’ll be less shocked or thrown off guard, more able to access the adaptability to greet what occurs with a greater sense of resourcefulness.
This orientation is a good one to assume not just on Saturday but days before as well as days after. This feels notably important given that next Monday—November 13—when we greet the New Moon, Uranus will also connected in with both the Sun and the Moon that day. And so adopting a Stay Bouncy! stance over these days feels like a great way to move, and move forward.
One last note. Sometimes potent Uranian energy is experienced as a heightened sense of nervousness, or exceptional rustles of restlessness, or what feels like swells of anxiety, or even a sense that if we don’t access some momentum we may explode. If that becomes your experience—or even to try to ward against it—consider some of these stellar self-care suggestions: exercise, dance, do an energy-moving practice like qi gong or tai chi, and/or use the Rescue Remedy flower essence blend.
All my very best,
Stephanie

Also, I’ve been thinking a lot about our propensity for conflation rather than orienting from a perspective of holding complexity. That inspired me to write a short Instagram post on the subject, which you can access here if you’re interested.
