Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer. May they help you make the most of this moment. Remember that if you would ever like to see how the planetary movements are inspiring you, based upon your personal astrology chart, we can explore that in a Stellar Guidance Session.
It’s hard to gloss over this: during this week of intensity, try as we may, it’s going to be hard to gloss over anything. Skimming the surface may not cut it. Turning a blind eye won’t make the visible invisible. And, “Shaken or stirred?” may become a popular inquiry, not so much about one’s martini preference but about how we’re feeling at a given time.
Through owning our sh*t, being courageous and honest, and seeing how creativity can be ever more powerful if we uproot what has lost its vitality, we may find it to be an incredibly transformative and powerful week that gives us a deeper understanding of all that we are actually capable of.
We begin the week with a bang. On Monday, with Jupiter in its last full day of being in Aries, we may find ourselves tapped into a surfeit of activating energy. There’s an urge to be in movement and yet if conditions don’t allow for progress in the style or speed in which we desire, impatience may permeate and stifled frustration could give way to bouts of anger.
Do what you can to temper your tempo while at the same time opening to the opportunity available when the planet of expansion is having its swan song moment in the sign associated with warriors and willpower: connect to what ignites you. More than that, feel into what it is that stokes your passion and see how you become its conscious champion.
Come Tuesday, Jupiter plods into earthy Taurus for its year-long staycation in the sign that reveres the practical, the sensual, the luxurious, and that which connects us to a sense of security. For the next twelve months, the collective tempo may feel a bit slower and a bit more grounded (and a bit more stubborn and steadfast). We may find ourselves more attuned to our own innate sense of rhythm as well as feel compelled to be more attuned to the rhythm of nature and the beauty that it inherently radiates and embodies.
Speaking of movement, yesterday messenger Mercury ended its recent retrograde cycle. Given that, by later this week we should find that our thoughts, conversations, and communication projects can embody a greater sense of traction and forward motion. Why am I noting this momentum may take a few days even though the retrograde is complete? That’s because it takes a bit of time for the messenger planet to pick up some speed.
As it seems to traverse the sky at a luxurious pace, so should we. Hone in on what you’ve learned over the past three weeks that arose from being in review, reassessment, and reconsideration. These will serve to be great ingredients of awareness to help you refine your understanding of how to communicate more clearly.
I can’t but help think that this propulsion forward may arrive on/after Friday, as that’s the day of the New Moon. After all, not only does this lunar event kick off a new monthly cycle of creation and manifestation, but it—like Mercury—is in the sign of Taurus and, as such, there may be a resonance that occurs. (If you’re a paid subscriber, look for the detailed New Moon article coming to your inbox in the next few days.)
I started off noting that we begin the week with a bang. And yet, the more I think about it, the more I think that the bang may not be limited to early in the week. After all, one of the key planetary players this week is Pluto, which in addition to making a tense square alignment with growth-oriented Jupiter on Wednesday make an edgy opposition to combative Mars on Saturday. When Pluto is potent, power and control, life and death, surviving and thriving, and the release of what’s been concealed may be themes that circulate in our awareness.
To flow with the currents of this this Plutonian period, here are some strategies that may be aligned:
· Dive deep.
· Unearth what’s hidden.
· Honor shadows.
· Reclaim honesty.
· Rout out what’s at the roots.
· Identify what has reached its expiration date.
· Don’t gloss over things.
Come Sunday when the Sun enters Gemini, we may find ourselves experiencing a greatly appreciated breeze of lightness. It may seem like we have more space to take a breath as well as adopt a more lighthearted stance. We may sense that some of the heavy is being replaced by lightness and that energy that had felt stuck is once again circulating.
Until then, know this: this week, in all of its potential intensity, may have us come face to face with what is deep and what is buried, amongst that being the love, compassion, and generativity that lives within us. We have opportunities to tap into our resourcefulness and tenacity, the wealth of our capacity, and the commitment to living our lives fully, deeply, and richly in a way that we had previously dreamed of but didn’t think possible.
May this transformative week bring you numerous blessings,
xxStephanie
