There is a stunning alignment that occurs this week: a triple conjunction between the radiant Sun, messenger Mercury, and boundary-blurring Neptune in Pisces, all making a tense square to action-oriented Mars in Gemini.
Reflecting this, I feel that getting lost is one of the key themes of the week, the experience of which may go one of two general ways. Ideally, it’s the type of lost in which you actually find something that you had not previously perceived, that only comes to your awareness when usual modes of perception go on hiatus, and more full spectrum ones emerge. And yet, we need to stay present enough so that our getting lost doesn’t lead to an abject disappearance that leaves us drained and then upset.
Some examples of the former, of a constructive lost (and then found) experience could include the following. We may find ourselves lost in thought, carried away by our inspirations and imaginations. We could be so absorbed by a beautiful piece of art that it seems that time ceases to exist momentarily. A symphony of songs could usher us to a liminal state of mind, in which we feel closer to the bedrock of the ocean of our emotions than to the mundane practicalities surrounding us. We could find that we’re more apt to become absorbed in the unfolding story of a novel, movie, or show, which more readily engrosses our mind and transports us to another world. Or, we may find ourselves lost as we look in the eyes of our beloved, only to discover ourselves connecting to a deeper well of love than we previously had.
Regardless, to experience the possibility of a lost-and-found experience—one infused with grace and delight—it’s important to make an effort, taking action that puts you in the midst of an activity that allows constriction to disappear so that enchantment can appear. I share the latter encouragement because it’s a way to constructively invite in the Mars energy so prominent this week.
That said, as shared above, it’s important to watch for experiences that just invoke being, feeling, or getting lost. For example, be aware that things of import don’t vanish or go unaccounted for. Watch the intake of spirits as a heightened sensitivity could lead to feeling more dispersed or intoxicated than usual. Be careful that you don’t lose yourself in another person in an unhealthy way, giving away resources—including time, energy, emotions, and/or money—that will never be replenished. Be careful of the tendency for dreaminess and spaciness that could have you get lost when you’re en route to an important destination.
Being aware of these tendencies is especially important to ward off unwanted outcomes. That’s because given Mars’ prominent role, if we get lost in these ways we could connect to an excess of anger, frustration, impatience, and/or explosive energy.
Additionally, make space this week to actively attend to the ways that you know what you know, finding a wider spectrum of avenues for insight. While at times the outside volume of activity may be raised, see if you can’t but find time for quiet, which can help you to further attune your inner listening to the reservoirs of your intuition and instincts. That said, as you further feel into your personal truths, connect with others empathetically, and have visions of what your dream life may look like, share some of your reflections with trusted friends, family and/or colleagues, as giving voice to them may help them to become more anchored and rooted.
Wishing you a beautiful week,
xxStephanie
