Guess who’s really happy on Monday?
Well, ideally you and I.
But for certain, Mercury.
That’s because the planet of communication moves into Gemini, one of the signs that it governs. Residing here, where it will camp out until July 5, Mercury feels a greater level of ease to express its natural quicksilver nature. Our minds may feel more apt to effortlessly glide, as our curiosity has us winding down this pathway and that one, seeking facts and figures that are not only intriguing but may hold import to a puzzle we’re seeking to solve. Observing a variety of inputs and seeking a multiplicity of options may seem quite alluring.
Another Mercury milestone occurs this week. On Saturday, it returns to the zodiacal spot in Gemini it was when it began its recent retrograde cycle on May 10. And with that, the post-shadow retrograde period will be complete. Translated from astrology into English that means: look for new-found clarity to emerge regarding how to craft a message or access information regarding subject matters that have been of interest to you for the past month-plus. Additionally, with Mercury out of its retrograde shadow, you may get the sense that it’s time to move forward with new ideas, messages, and conversations.
Tuesday features the illumination of the Sagittarius Full Moon. This yearly lunation has us become aware of the import of having a wider view. For example, we may find ourselves inclined to think more globally than locally and want to focus on the bigger picture rather than just zeroing in on sundry facts. There’s a sense of discovery in the air and a wide open road we’re interested in exploring.
This Full Moon happens to make a couple of planetary connections that will further add to the flavor of the opportunities and challenges it may bring to light. Given that it squares Neptune, we could find that while we’re seeking understanding, that a situation is not as immediately clear as we’d like it to be. To have things embody more saliency, instead of approaching situations from a solely logical orientation, allow your intuition to be your ally. See if you can perceive the subtleties of the situation; remember that while things may not be said or expressed, it’s not that they don’t exist.
The Sun also makes a flowing trine alignment to Saturn. And with that, it may remind us that information has the power of in-formation, bringing things into form. The ideas and understanding to which we’re connecting to this week may not only captivate our interest but can also serve as a multi-layered foundation upon which we can build systems and/or objects that have shape and structure. With Saturn also being the planet that reminds us of the value of time, considering the long-game rather than just going for the quick in-the-moment win may really pay off down the road.
This feels even more worthy of emphasis given that Saturn makes a square to Venus on Saturday. And with that, we may also find that our values are tested and/or questioned. This may manifest in us more readily recognizing what it is that we truly cherish and what we do not.
Approaching this process with compassion and empathy, which Sunday’s Saturn/Neptune sextile encourages, feels like a beautiful way forward. All in all, seeing the reality of what/who it is that you truly love and what/who it is that enriches your life, can be clarifying and speak to your heart and soul in the deepest of ways.
Wishing you an illuminating week,
Be well,
xxStephanie
