More Deeply Understanding What Holds Value
Are you noticing the invitation to turn your attention to the past in order to further understand a current situation involving a relationship, your financial well-being and/or how you want to enhance your alliance to beauty and pleasure. I ask as we’re two days into the current Venus Retrograde, a six-week period that offers encouragement to re-evaluate what we value and retrace our steps when it comes to further identifying how to invite in the feminine and connect to the experience of deepening the richness of our lives (and those around us).
Given Venus’ union this week with messenger Mercury, we may be able to access further insights into these realms, discovering a deeper understanding as to what holds value for us. We may find ourselves drawn to researching resources that can help us to bolster our connection to the feminine as well as discover ways to make our partnerships more worthwhile and perhaps even more profitable.
The day after this alignment, Mercury enters the discerning sign of Virgo, where it will reside for an extended period of time (through October 4) owing to its upcoming retrograde cycle (August 23 – September 15). When Mercury is in Virgo, we turn our attention to the piece parts, able to more fully see how the devil (and the angels) are in the details. Precision in speech, writing, and design becomes more important and we may find ourselves drawn to organizing, classifying, and systematizing things. Given that Virgo is a sign associated with purity and well-being, when Mercury is in this sign, we may find ourselves with a stronger call to figure out methods to enhance our health and wellness.
