Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer. May they help you make the most of this moment. Remember that if you would ever like to see how the planetary movements are inspiring you, based upon your personal astrology chart, we can explore that in a Stellar Guidance Session.
As the week begins, and we meet the Mercury/Pluto Opposition, we’re pulled to dive deep into the underbelly of understanding, to not just think we know something but to honor a desire to really and truly know it. The superficial may seem as if it really won’t suffice at the moment. Rather, we may sense an urgency to unearth the hidden and reveal what dwells in the recesses of our thoughts and feelings. Be courageous as you embark upon a treasure hunt to decode and decipher jewels of understanding. Given that Mercury is in the sign of Cancer, note that the rich terrain that can be plumbed for excavation includes that related to your home, homeland, family, and any ancestral patterns that weave through your kith and kin.
Also, on Monday, we’ve got two planetary sign shifts. After it opposes Pluto, Mercury roars into Leo, entering a two-plus week period in which we’re drawn to be more dramatic in our communication while also learning how to more fully embrace our creativity. Additionally, it’s also the day that Mars enters Virgo for an almost seven-week jaunt. During this period, we may find ourselves wanting to champion efficiency and make things the best they can be. We may also tap into a greater lust for all things organized and systematized. Approaching health from a more holistic perspective and honoring all the pieces that compose the whole may magnetize our attention.
Take note as well that this is the last week that the true Lunar Nodes will be residing in the Taurus/Scorpio axis. With the North Node in Taurus and South Node in Scorpio since January 2022, there’s been a collective pull to pay greater awareness to nature, to orienting through our senses, and to the practicality of being pragmatic. All the while, we may experience how stridently stirring the pot, while also being secretive rather than transparent, wasn’t always the pathway to reward we viewed it would be. This week, as the Lunar Nodes have their swan sang in Taurus and Scorpio (at least for the next nine-ish years), take note of themes that accord with these signs including the earth, money, rituals/routines, sexuality, sensuality, underground motivations, power, pragmatism, and the drive for security, whether on an everyday needs, emotional and/or financial level.
Next week, the North Node will slide into Aries and the South Node into Libra. And with this, we will embark upon an eighteen-month period in which our focus turns to the ways that the needs of individuals and partnerships can co-exist. We may find ourselves reflecting upon when we feel called to fight for something that’s of import to us rather than compromise our self out of concern for maintaining what we perceive to be a harmonious environment.
Yet, that is then, not now. For this week, see where the practical and sensual (Taurus) intersect with the passionate and emotional (Scorpio), where the thoughtful reveal of mysteries can yield experiences of sweetness and delight.
All my best,
xxStephanie
