Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer us collectively. If you’re looking to access personalized astrological and self-care insights to help you navigate the now, I’d love to do a Stellar Guidance Session with you.
What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from. ― T.S. Eliot
Since 2008, Pluto has been climbing through Capricorn, peeling back the curtains on societal structures. It’s offered us a collective view as to what’s at the core of institutions such as business, economies, financial markets, governments, political systems, the patriarchy, and the like: where there is vitality and where there is rot.
While it’s been volleying between Capricorn and Aquarius for the past two years, on Tuesday, it will enter the latter sign—which is associated with such realms as technology, the collective, groups, science, mutual aid, revolutions—where it will remain until 2044. And with this—and with the other planetary shifts we will encounter next year—we’re embarking upon a periods of big movements and seismic shifts.
As Pluto says goodbye to Capricorn and hello to Aquarius, I think that it’s important that we remember the interplay between beginnings and endings, an awareness with which Pluto itself—the planet that connects us to the cycles of life—infuses us.
As such, I feel it important to look at where we’ve been before we fully analyze we’re going. And rather than reflect upon collective shifts here/now, I believe it’s meaningful to peer at what lessons we may have received personally while Pluto was in Capricorn over this last decade-plus. Knowing this, embodying this, embracing this can help us meet the upcoming terrain with more clarity and consciousness.
What follow is a sign-by-sign glance at the realms of your life that may have undergone a Plutonian transformation. These are the areas in which:
you may have found yourself needing to dig deeper so that you could unearth the hidden treasures that lay within.
your greatest fears may have emerged into the light of your conscious mind, enabling you opportunities to shapeshift your relationship with them so that you could shed the grip on your vitality they once did.
you may have needed to let something go in order to clear the terrain to make space for renewal and re-emergence, one that will allow you live in deeper alignment with your core.
you also discovered essential resources, that you are more resourceful than you had believed, and that no one and nothing can ever strip you of who you are and the true ground in which you stand.
If you know your Ascendant, read that sign below. If you’re not certain of it, read the excerpt for your Sun sign (the answer to the question “What’s your sign?”)
Aries (Ascendant or Sun): career, business, role in the public, parent/s
Taurus (Ascendant or Sun): cultural wisdom, philosophy, religion/spirituality, seeing the bigger picture, connecting to the wider world
Gemini (Ascendant or Sun): shared resources, sex, inheritances, intimacy, deep relationships, and the occult/mysterious
Cancer (Ascendant or Sun): one-to-one relationships and partnerships, including those that are romantic, social, and/or business
Leo (Ascendant or Sun): health, service, work, pets, mentors, employe[e/r]s
Virgo (Ascendant or Sun): artistry, love and romance, self-expression, creativity, children

Aquarius (Ascendant or Sun): deep self, ancestral inheritances, refuge and retreat, chapter closing

Reflect upon the shifts that have occurred in these domains of your life. Doing so will not only give you perspective of what the past has brought while also rooting you to the present, but it will also give you a place to ground into as you orient to what’s ahead.
Wishing you all my very best,
xxStephanie
