The Dance of Expansion and Contraction: The Jupiter/Saturn Square
Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer us collectively. If you’re looking to access personalized astrological and self-care insights to help you navigate the now, I’d love to do a Stellar Guidance Session or Stellar Constellation with you with you.
How can structure give you more agility? How can setting limits be a key to experiencing more freedom? When is less actually more? And conversely, when is more actually less?
With Jupiter squaring Saturn this week, these are some of the prominent themes we may encounter. We may see their prominence as we read the news, attend to conversations occurring around us, and/or notice them as topics upon which we are focusing.
Additionally we may gain further insights into the dynamics that exist between such Jupiter/Saturn pairs such as liberalism and conservatism, expansion and contraction, optimism and cynicism, spending and saving, and abundance and scarcity. Given that messenger Mercury links up with this planetary alignment, spending some time either talking or writing about these subjects may offer a fruitful window into gaining more fluency in these realms.
One idea would be to pick one of the above-cited pairs and write about them. Another would be to use the questions in the initial paragraph as journalling prompts.
Don’t forget that this Jupiter/Saturn Square is the second of three. The first occurred on August 19 and the next will be on June 15.
Also, this weekend’s Venus/Uranus Square invites us to be open to the unexpected when it comes to our relationships: you could find yourself surprised by another, how you feel about someone and/or how you view a relatively well-entrenched dynamic that resides at the foundation of one of your friendships. Allow a space of flexibility regarding social plans, which may not end up looking exactly as you had originally envisioned them (which is not always a bad thing). Invariably, the power of this Venus/Uranus invitation is to find more space and freedom to declare what it is that we truly value and to uphold our own sense of worth in a creative and innovative way.
Wishing you and your family, friends, and community a VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY!
xxStephanie
