Here are some insights about the opportunities and challenges that this week’s astrology may offer us collectively. May they help you make the most of this moment. If you’re looking to access personalized astrological and self-care insights, I’d love to do a Stellar Guidance Session with you. Or if you’re looking to dive deeper into understanding the patterns that bind your family and release entanglements that keep you from fully expressing yourself, consider doing a Stellar Constellation Session with me.
Dreaming is in vogue. Not only is this a phrase that I feel could describe some of the energetics of the early part of the week but also something that reflects a recent experience I had and am thrilled about (scroll down to learn more).
Early Monday we have the Mars/Neptune Conjunction. As I shared last week when referencing it, this alignment “inspires us to find a sense of spaciousness that can help us move with a greater feeling of flow and ease. It offers us the opportunity to tap into the vast knowing field of connected consciousness to access awareness about what motivates and inspires us and to see how compassion calls us into action.”
With both in Pisces, the sign of dreams, we may find that our oneiric visions are feeling more activated and/or we see how they may be a source to more clearly help us understand how to proceed in a waking-life situation that has been perplexing to us. One way to access the wisdom that is inherently present in our dreams is through dream incubation; this nighttime intention-setting practice involves consciously asking our dreams to bring forth awareness about a particular topic upon which we are focused. (I have a whole chapter dedicated to dream incubation in my book and/or you can learn about it here in a short podcast episode I did with Tony Howard of Astrology University.)
Also this week we have two planets shifting signs, both moving into celestial spots in which they feel quite at home. Venus enters Taurus, a zodiacal locale in which it gets to express its luxurious self. It will reside there until May 23, inviting us to a several-week period in which we’re drawn to sensual delights, the appreciation of being resourcefulness, and a deeper connection to the natural world. Additionally, on Tuesday, Mars charges into Aries, a sign that encourages it to express its most dynamic self. With that, through June 9, we may find an additional storehouse of willpower and fount of courage to go after the aims we deem inspiring, those that ignite our soul.
All this said, the week is peppered with invitations to unearth what’s been hidden. We may actively witness the emergence of the shrouded, submerged, and stowed away. This may include lost objects, veiled facts, repressed emotions, undercover motivations, and covert dynamics. That there is often more existing than we can perceive in plain sight—and that what lays just below the surface can help us access a more holistic understanding that can lead towards knowledge and healing—is something that will be helpful to remember this week. All this thanks to Pluto moving really slowly as it gets set to begin its annual retrograde period on Thursday.
Instead of waiting for the obscured to materialize, actively go into the recesses to exhume these powerful treasures. In the process, consider what has reached its expiration date and is restricting your vitality and integrity, and open to the transformation and renewal that arises from clearing the space for something new and powerful to emerge.
Should you need support during what could be a riveting week, there are numerous flower essence that can be supportive during Plutonian times depending upon what is arising for you.. These include Sweet Chestnut, Cherry Plum, Mustard, and Basil.
Wishing you a beautifully transformative week!
xxStephanie
