This weekâthanks for Jupiter stationing direct in Gemini and the Mercury Cazimiâturning our attention to education, knowledge, fact collection, and information dissemination will serve to empower us.
Questions are key and powerful sherpas to unlock more clarity. They can also help us to focus and streamline our attention, which may otherwise be pulled in various directions.
As such, I thought to offer you some Stellar Reflection Questions that you can use as thought inquiries and/or as journalling prompts.
How do I know what I know?
What does it mean to be educated?
How is my relationship with media sources changing?
How can I stay informed without feeling overwhelmed?
What mediums do I feel inclined to use when I want to share insights and knowledge?
How can I further embrace my unique learning style to better ensure that I can take information and transform it into deeper knowledge and wisdom?
This weekâs astrological inspirations also remind us that multiple things can be valid at the same time. As Jessica Craven in Chop Wood, Carry Water noted on SundayâĤ
âRemember: two things can be true at once. Things are very bad, AND good things also happened this week. Some of them are even outgrowths of the bad things.â
I share this because both the sign of Gemini (strong because of the Jupiter station) and Aquarius (prominent because this is where the Mercury Cazimi falls) encourage us to be in an AND rather than OR orientation. They inspire us to hold duality, synthesize the piece parts, and see the networks and patterns that are present in a larger system.
On some level, this week feels like a preview to a new mini-era we will enter this summer. Thatâs when revere-disruption Uranus moves into Gemini, where it will reside for the majority of the next seven years. During this period we may experience revolutions in terms of how information is shared, how to spark innovations in language, how we create bridges that connect different terrains, and what structures move our understanding from one realm to the next.
Aligned with this time of strong focus on Gemini and Mercury, I have found myself also reflecting upon the role of my voice, how to best channel it during this time of chaos, of worry, and of concern. This has had me think about this weekly newsletter.
On the one hand, I donât want to ignore speaking to the current political and social climate, the crisis on the collective and individual levels that so many of us are experiencing. And yet, I also donât want to have my writing only be framed through this landscape.
So, please know that even if Iâm not naming it, I am rattled, shaken, and deeply stirred by what I perceive to be deep injustice and lack of care, and that I am committed to advocating for fairness, compassion, and mutual aid. I continue to feel that astrology has deep power in helping us to frame and understand the moments we are living through; and in that, we can find deeper awareness, clarity, and power to make changes that we feel are aligned with our truest values. This is part of the foundation of why I do what I do, including sharing this weekly newsletter with you.
With love,
Stephanie
